The new me

I got my hair cut while I was in Oregon, and since I love it when other people post pictures of their new haircuts I am trying to follow the golden rule. :) It's not quite as short as my girls' hair, but for me this is a super big deal. Not having the option to put it in a cute ponytail or bun has been an adjustment. I'm also trying to figure out if it's the haircut that is making my face look bigger, or if my face is just simply getting bigger. (With my previous pregnancies I didn't gain much weight except for where the baby was, but for some reason my whole body is blowing up this time. It's totally not cool.) But either way, this is me.

(Oh, I also had my Mom color it for me, and am totally happy with how it turned out. We got the color from Sally Beauty Supply and they were so helpful. I told them what I was looking for (neutral blonde-- NO brassy!) and they knew exactly what I needed to get. So, for all of you at-home colorists, I highly recommend skipping the isle at the grocery store and heading over to Sally.)

I love that length on you. And lucky you about only gaining face weight this time. I have had that happen every pregnancy. I'm also thinking about getting a cut with that length but we shall see.

One word: Vavavavooom! You look great! Thank you for all you've done for Jan. You will need to let me repay you somehow. He has had the best time with your family.

Very cute! I recently cut a lot of my hair off too. For the first day or two I was adjusting to it. I was wondering why I get so attatched to my hair when it's long. It's only hair. I too think my face looks rounder because of the cut. You're a lucky woman to only gain weight like you did with your first four. I've never been so lucky!

It's an adorable style on you. Your daughters look just like you too. It still looks long enough to put in a small pony tail though. I hope you enjoy it!!

very cute. and no you don't have a fat face. You ought to still be able to do ponytails though, a low chic one or a half pony higher up. My hair is shorter than yours and I wear it is a pony all the time.

Way cute! You look great too! I wouldn't even worry about a little weight gain. You can't even tell. You are beautiful no matter what!

I love it and it doesn't make your face look bigger at all!

Love your hair, and all the fun pictures of your busy, fun lives.
I especially liked the quartet standing in front of the bathrooms. Since I couldn't hear them my eyes were distracted, nice back drop. I know...Picky picky.
