$1.59

On Saturday night David and I went out on a hot date. First, we drove to the cemetery near our house and walked around. It's a really cool, old cemetery with gravestones dating back to the 1850's. Then we went to the park. It was pretty much deserted, so we pretended it was our own personal playground. We played on the swings and the slide; we climbed the play structures and raced across the chain bridge. And we found a dark spot to kiss a little. Then we went to Sonic and got a watermelon slush to share. We took it up to the movie theater parking lot where we parked and looked out over the city beneath us and just talked. Then we went home. Totally in love. A million dollars couldn't have bought a better time together. And we spent just $1.59.
