Baby Boy Blanket

When we were at the fabric store getting fabric for Emily & Summer's window treatment I saw these fabrics and couldn't help myself. One of my friends is having a baby boy so I made this quilt for her.

At first I was a little nervous about it being too girly (afterall, girly is pretty much all I do!), but I think it turned out manly enough. Even if there are flowers in some of the fabrics. And it was SO fun to make. I could get carried away with baby quilts if I let myself.

So cute and no not too girly. Baby boys need some frills and fluff too.

The plaid on the back definitely grounds it in masculinity. Soooo cute! You are talented.

I should have ignored Mike and told you to make a baby quilt for Joshie when he was born. I regret not asking that. :(

What a good friend you are! The quilt looks adorable! A friend of mine made a quilt for Bella when she was born and now it is one of my "if the house if on fire, what do I grab" items.

All thumbs up! It will be so fun to give it to her, if you can part with it!

Just thought you'd like to know that Nathan left his dark blue knitted blanket and booties in great condition and now Cameron is snuggly asleep with his blue blanket. Thank you! :)
