Good enough!

This quilt has been a learning experience. If I can step back and look at it without such a critical eye I can see that it is really cute. I LOVE the fabric and it's really soft and cuddly. But I also see every little imperfection. (I lap tied it and didn't do a very good job at keeping the quilt top taut on the backing, so it's pretty puckery and uneven. I also used the machine to sew on the binding which never seems to go well for me.) But, like SO many other things in life I am going to have to accept that this is the best I could do in the moment. I know better, but I wasn't able to do better. And for now that has to be good enough.

Well, to the untrained eye it looks beautiful! I love the polka dots.

I hear ya talkin'! There will come a phase of your life you will be able to work on a project til you get it to the level you want. Til then, I think the quilt looks great!

My mom always made tie quilts. I love it and the yellow is perfectly pretty.
