One Down

For months I've had two humanitarian aid quilts that I needed to put the binding on. Well, today I can check one of them off my list!!! It didn't turn out real pretty, but I figure that whoever receives it won't be too critical of my sewing job. It'll keep them warm. And for that reason I count this as a successful project.

(Now, if I can just get up the motivation to finish the other one......)

You said your work wasn't pretty, but it is!! That binding looks wonderful!! I am not just saying that to make you feel good. It looks perfect. There will be a little extra love for whoever uses that quilt because you put on that binding. Good job.

I love that video the church put out with the older lady that is legally blind. I always cry when she says "Zorah May, there's something you can do." (Can't remember her actual name, something cute and old ladyish) And then she tells how she holds each blanket and fills it with love before she sends it off. Good job.

Beautiful work!

Our RS President is teaching a group of us to quilt each Thursday night and I am loving it. My oldest, Olivia, is going with me and she is so super excited to learn.

Be thankful for your beautiful talent. We all aren't blessed with such natural abilities. :)
