Cuttin' Up

I've spent a good portion of today cutting fabric for Lydia's new quilt. I still have a lot more cutting to do, but as of now all of the pieces for the smaller star blocks are cut. Hopefully when I go to Oregon my Mom & I can use team-work to put them together. The final product will look like this.

McKenna & Lydia's red & white bedroom is in the works!!

Wow, I don't know how you have the patience to do this. I guess you have your Mom as a great teacher/quilter though!

By the way my blog is set to private and under construction. I've changed my web address as well. We had a unpleasant person from Scott's past surface and start stalking my/our blog. At first I was fine with it but, it just got weird. I really like blogging and I'm sad I will have to set my blog private. I will send you an invite. Have fun witht your Mom and tell David to call if he needs help with the girls.

I thought by the title that you were getting a major haircut!

That is really, really impressive. After seeing you (and other people on blogs)and your magnificent quilts, I've decided to give it a try.

I've started checking out beginning quilter's websites, etc. I'm a total novice with no experience. Do you have any advice for me? They say to start small, so I think I'll try a baby quilt with simple blocks.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow, you're all that, and a quilter, too! That quilt will be a treasure. Can't wait to see the finished product.

It is looking good! Did you design the pattern yourself? Very cool!
