I am a chore convert. I used to think it was easier to just do it myself, but now that my kids are older they are proving to be quite handy around the house. And I have to brag a little about how awesome they are. Sometimes it takes a little gentle persuasion to get them going, but once they are up and working they can lean like pros! It's a win-win situation. I get help around the house and they learn some valuable skills and are able to enjoy the sense of accomplishment for a job well done. (Plus, they really like getting their allowance at the end of the week and they have learned: No chores --> no allowance).

Aren't kids great for that?! We make Alex Vacuum and pick up dog poop.
I love getting my kids to do jobs. I think they really like it too. It makes them feel important!
I try to have Madyson help already also. I still remember picking up pine cones at my parents for a penny a cone!
