Can't quit now (but sometimes I want to)

What was I thinking?!
Committing to run 100 miles before Christmas is proving to be quite the challenge. I have done well so far, but I'm realizing that in order to complete my goal I have very little wiggle room. 16 miles a week EVERY week or I won't make it, and I really want to make it. I have already run 61 miles, so I can't give up now. But really, what was I thinking?!

You were thinking that you are the strongest when you push yourself beyond your limits, that you can prove to yourself and your body that your mind and spirit are far more powerful. You were inspiring yourself to reach a goal that would require you to stretch further, and you set yourself up for a reward and a success that you will always treasure. Good luck Jess. I know that you can do it!

I remember two years ago when I decided I wanted to prove to myself that at the age of 46 I could run a 5k race. I started in Feb. and ran almost every day trying to get ready and by April I ran my first 5k. I was so determined and that's what kept me going. Keep in mind that it's a goal. You still have 17 day to do it. But that's counting Sundays. You are a determined young woman so we know you can!!! We look forward to hearing how you're doing.

Oh by the way... when do you actually go running. Do you get up really early. I would have to get up at 5:30. That is SO early! You have a husband who works a lot too.
