When I turned on the morning news I was devastated to hear about another school shooting, this one taking place in an Amish community. As one who admires the simplicity and faith of the Amish people I cannot believe that anyone could carry out this atrocious act on such an innocent people, and the fact the violence was targeted at children makes the crime even more demonic. My prayers go out to them. I've included some images of Amish life as a remembrance of what was shattered, and the beauty that will hopefully survive.
