Walked Away!
Last night David and one of his business partners were in a serious car accident. Miraculously they walked away with only a few minor cuts. As David described the accident to me I was amazed at the Lord's hand in blessing us. It could have been really bad, but thankfully our lives were hardly impacted. They were driving a rental car, so neither David or his partner have to be without a car, and since the accident occured over four hours away they were able to get a replacement rental instead of someone having to drive four hours to pick them up. Their injuries were minimal, which is especially good for us because we don't currently have health insurance. (Although I will be enrolling in a plan on Monday!) Even something as minor as stitches could have really set us back, and realistically it could have been much worse than that. I refuse to think about that though. David joked that even though we don't have health insurance we do have life insurance, so I would be okay if he died. WRONG! After watching the 20/20 with Terri Irwin (Steve Irwin's widow) I am particularly keyed into what it would be like to lose my husband, and I don't even want to consider what that would be like. Instead, I will focus on how blessed we are and revel in the fact that he walked away!

Oh my goodness. You can't even think about what might have happened. Well, you can think about it for one second and then pray with all your heart thanking Heavenly Father that that didn't happen. We are so glad Dave is ok!
wow, i am so glad they were ok!
i saw that 20/20 about terri irwin, too. so sad! i wish she knew that she could see him again and that they could be together forever. it made me very grateful to have the gospel and to be sealed to my husband.
What a blessing! The angels were with them. We are very thankful David and his partner are OK! We are so thanksful!
Oh my goodness!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lord.
