Every once in a while I have experiences that remind me that I really do live in the country. Today while we were boating on the lake we saw a copperhead snake swimming in the water. (SCARY!) When we got back to our dock we told the man next door that we'd seen a snake. He told us that he'd seen a snake lurking around his dock for a few days and that he was going to call some buddies to help him get rid of it. Well... about a half an hour later three guys show up with beer in one hand and shotguns in the other. After a loud conversation about how to best go after the snake and a couple attempts of finding it, they shook their heads, said "I'll be danged," and all went home disappointed.
Also, today while driving to the grocery store I saw a sign that said, "SWANG 4 SALE." People make fun of us country folk for a reason!

I am so sorry Mike wasn't there! He could have helped a little better than the men with a beer and a shot gun! But that makes me laugh - "I'll be danged!"
Hilarious!!!!!!!!
