Yesterday we were with one of my relatives and in a conversation about all the yard work we have to do she made a comment about how she wishes she could do some of those things on Sunday. I was surprised at how strong my immediate reaction was. "Oh, NO!" I told her. "That would be awful!" Six days of the week I work and stress. The seventh is a wonderful reprieve. They are not always "days of rest," but they are always renewing and rejuvinating. Sunday is my one day "off." I don't have to worry about doing laundry, picking weeds, grocery shopping, cleaning, or the other hundred-and-one other daily tasks that haunt me the rest of the week. I can lay in bed and read my scriptures without one moments pause. I can sit and play games with my family and not have the nagging "I should be tidying the house" feeling. On the Sabbath day I receive the spiritual and physical renewal that keeps me going the rest of the week. Thank heaven for the Sabbath day!

So true! There have been times in my life when I think I would have just rolled up into one stress ball if it weren't for Sunday. It's such a blessing!!
