On Saturday, Summer and I went on a little date to the fabric store. While we were there she fell in love with this butterfly fabric. I wasn't digging it quite as much as she was, but in order to make her happy I bought a 1/2 yard and told her I'd make her a skirt out of it. And today I fulfilled my promise. I just sewed a back seam, made a casing for the elastic waistband, and hemmed the bottom. And Summer couldn't be happier. And now that I see her wearing the skirt I realize that she actually has pretty good taste in fabric! It totally suits her.
