I've seen this on a few different blogs and thought it would be fun to play. I hope you will play along! Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Jessi, we were in the same freshman ward years ago! I didn't know you very well then. But I do remember you hanging out with Leslie (I think that was her name), and thinking you two were just beautiful and happy! I'm so glad I found you again through Audra!
I remember the great fashion show you put on in our basement in Eugene. You rounded up all the neighbor kids, found something for each to wear, and then helped them practice modeling. You then invited all the parents to come see the latest fashions as modeled by their kids. It turned out so fun! I think we even had refreshments! What an organizer!
I remember busting into your freshman apartment (all the time, I might add) and you would either be sitting with your legs crossed in the hallway doing homework, or sitting at the kitchen table doing homework. And I would rudely interrupt you with my dramatics and sidetrack you into talking about boys!! Yeah!!!
I also remember when you met your husband and how you would look every time you were with him. You would link up arms with him, snuggle in close and look up at him with those adoring Jessi eyes that said how special and amazing he was and you were never going to let go.
I remeber when you and David were almost but not quite married and we went to your apartment. I was still young, so I can't remember if we were there to do a bridal shower or what but I remember thinking how grown up you were.
Well Jessi, I've never actually met you, but I will always have my cute black and white polka dot apron to remember you by! :) Here's to cyber friends.
I remember getting a cute little pair of shoes from you after we had Max. (I still have them.) I thought it was very thoughtful even though I had no clue who you were! (I liked you when Doug told me about you!:)
I remember going to one of Tyler's football games at Churchill and watching you cheer. You were so pretty!
I remember thinking how perfect you were:
You were smart.
You were pretty.
You were righteous.
You had it all. Ü
You must've set quite the example for youth your age.
HUGS!
I remember going to the lake with you in Eugene and you would lay out to get a tan and I simply could not lay out as long as you could.
I remember jumping on the trampoline with you and you did the perfect toe touch.
I remember your first stick shift driving experience in the church parking lot. I bet you remember that too!
Sadly, we've yet to meet....
But my favorite memory of you is being able to reunite you with the O* family. What a treasure blogs can be!
I remember how you were so supportive and inclusive of Audra when she was a freshman and you were a senior. I remember how you asked Adam to be your escort at halftime of the homecoming football game when they announced the homecoming courts. And I remember how you taught Abbi to do cheerleading stunts and then had her come to the games and do a few in front of the crowd. In all the world there could not be a better big sister!!!
I am getting to know you, but the first time I met you was at the girls preschool and it was Halloween and you wore black and orange striped stockings with a long skirt I think. You won a present from Ms. Jena for being the most festive parent or something like that. I remember thinking "I wish I could pull off orange and black stockings. If I had done it I would have looked like a big dork" and of corse I will never forget that ou taught me how to use a sewing machine. I know it was just a few weeks ago, but a HUGE step in my quest to be crafty!
I remember the time Dave was out of town and you had the girls and me over for dinner for my birthday. Seriously, you are the sweetest girl in the world. I had quite a few memories, but that one will always stick out! Love ya!
I remember when we were little always thinking that I was you in every picture. You were and are still so beautiful and I wanted to be you. I would cry and cry to Grandpa & Grandma that it was "ME" in that picture and not you!! haha... I always admired and wanted to be like you and I still do. You are beautiful! And an amazing mother!
I vividly remember one time in elementary school while were were standing in line to go back into our classroom from recess and bragging to my friends, "My sister is in the 10th grade!!" (Imagine 10 being bolded and underlined three times.)
I remember hanging out with you and your friends while you were in high school--
watching the Lion King with a whole bunch of your friends at one of your friends' houses,
sitting out on our trampoline at night and talking with you and your friends and the guys giving me wet-willies,
falling into a Christmas tree after one of your guy friends picked me up and spun me around in his living room,
attending your high school basketball team's banquet and one of the players giving me a rose along with the other cheerleaders,
going into your Prom and talking with your friends there.
What other 17 year old girl includes her 9 year old sister in all her high school fun?!
You've always included me and made me feel important to you, and that has meant so much to me!
I remember admiring you for not gossiping. We were in the car discussing the goings-on of the ward and you could have gone on about a situation but you purposely held your tongue and were a really good example to me. Plus, your family of gorgeous girls have always impressed me. You are such a good mom to those cuties.
I have lots of Jessi memories, but that 7th period all-girls seminary class sticks out so much to me! What an example you were to all of us, even though some of us were older than you!
And then to have your help and support and friendship at Wells Hall was so comforting, too!
Love ya Jess!

One memory that has been special to me was a comment you made in Young Womens. The lesson had something to do with the power of prayer and how to maintain a personal relationship with our Father in Heaven. You said it helped you to picture Him sitting at the foot of your bed, like a Dad might come in to have a talk with you. I have continued to use that tool all my life. Thank you!
Hi Mrs.Jesse! I remember when you taught me ow to croshe. I hope i spelled that right!
I remember seeing you in church with all of your girls and you being so calm. I was like....man, I need to find out how she does it!! And, I remember, (before I got to know you) thad David got up in church and told a story about you how when you were first married, you came home crying b/c you couldn't tie a bow like your mom. I wasn't sure if you and I would get a long b/c you sounded like a perfectionist (which I still think you are), and I'm sooooo not one (I wish I was), BUT, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out how cool and down to earth you are. And I just love you!
