Twue Wuve

Tomorrow we leave for Utah to be with this fabulously good-looking couple at their wedding. (Which just happens to take place on David's and my 11 year anniversary!)

Here is our little dilemma though. Adam's soon-to-be-wife is also named Jessie and we are trying to figure out how to differentiate between us. David thinks I should start going by Jessica, but I haven't been called that since I was about 9 years old. Another option is that we go by our initials. Jessie will be "Jeep" and I'll be "Jespg." :) Any other ideas?

Have fun at the wedding. We have that same problem in my family 3 times over! My husband and my BIL are both Aaron. So just refer to them as my Aaron and Becca's Aaron. I wonder how my family differentiates when they aren't talking to me.

Have fun and I think the weather should be nice here. They are too cute! Maybe Jess and Jessi. We have this issue also, but everyone always seems to add the spouse or kids in there, so we know who we are talking about. :)

My girls have an Aunt Chelie and an Aunt Chellie. They call one "Aunt Chelie with Chayla, Daddy's sister" and one "Aunt Chellie that sends us stuff, Mommy's sister." Obviously that's a mouthfull, so we really needed to come up with something a long time ago!

Anyway, I was going to say you should be "Jess" but would anyone really get used to calling you that? Maybe you can be "Jessi, Mom of McKenna, Lydia, Emily, Summer and new baby."

Have fun at the wedding!!!!!!

Since you spell your names differently you could go by Jessi-I and she could go by Jessie-E or just use your last initials, Jessi G. and Jessi P. Although they sound so close it might be confusing.

She could be New Jessie, but that leaves you with OLD Jessi. That won't do.

I think the only answer is for you to go back to your rapper roots and be Jess Funky Fresh.=)

Hope you all have a wonderful time. Tell Adam congratulations from Dustin and Connie.

Have Fun! I agree with several others Jes and Jessie. Does your family already shorten your name anyways? I think it would be easier to shorten then to add letters:) In our family are kids each have 4 different names that are duplicated on each side of our family..."Aunt Laura's husband Uncle Adam." Kind of a mouth full to establish who we are talking about. But, then we can just say Uncle Adam and they know who we are talking about.

Whatever. You have seniority, don't give it up. You are a Jessi, not Jessica!

We have that, but they're different generations, and male, so we call them Big Tyler and Big Spencer. But that won't work for you--you probably don't want to be known as Big Jessi! I agree with Nisa--you've got the seniority, so you are still Jessi, and she can be whatever she wants!

Already when I say "Jessi," my girls will say which? How about JESSA and JESSIE? Actually neither of you should have to change. Kami was Kameron until she went to School and the teacher DECIDED her name could NOT be Kameron because there was a little boy, (Cameron) in her class. When she came home and said that she could not be Kameron anymore because it is a Boys name, I was very upset but the damage was done. A stupid kindergarten teacher made her rethink everything about her name and said she had to be KAMI... So Don't change anything unles YOU want.
