There were two presents I was so excited to give my kids this year.... jacks & a chinese jumprope. When my girls first unwrapped the packages they weren't that excited (it's kind of sad that kids these days don't even know what jacks are!), but once I taught them how to play they love them. It's been COLD outside, so for the last two days we have burrowed into our home and played games: jacks, chinese jumprope, Monopoly, Memory, Go Fish... all the favorites! We have had the best time.

We need a set of Jacks. What a fun game that is! GREAT picture by the way!
I loved Jacks when I was a kid!! That's why there are so many overweight kids now days. They aren't active and out running around. I say bring back the good ole games I used to have as a child!! And Jacks was one of them. Good hand and eye cordination required!!
I'm glad you've been having fun!
I took my jacks to school regularly to play at recess. So much fun! Great idea to introduce your kids to those fun games!
Lola and I played jacks on our bedroom linolium floor that was uneven which made it somewhat a challenge but I love jacks. I almost forgot. Thanks
I know I've had one before, I can not for the life of me remember what a chinese jumprope is?
