On Saturday I am going to run in a 5K race and would also like to do another 10K in January. Since my Mom and Dad gave me an MP3 player for Christmas last year music has become a necessity while I run, and there are a few songs that totally keep me going when I want to give up. My latest favorite is the Numa Numa song (of YouTube fame). Some other songs that I like to run to are:
*Whip It by Devo
*It's my Life by Bon Jovi
*Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield
*All Around the World by Planet Pop
*Black Horse in Cherry Tree by K.T. Tunstall
*A New Day has Come by Celine Dion
*Dance from Napoleon Dynamite
I'm looking for some new songs to add to my playlist, though. What are your favorite songs to exercise to?

Anyway, sorry about the novel, but hopefully you'll give these a listen and find something that pumps you up!!!! Let me know what you think...I know I'm a bit of a rocker. Also, you can buy the clean version of all of them that have explicit lyrics on iTunes.
I don't know why but Janet Jackson's older album. I can't remember what it's called, it has "moth to a flame" on it. I can't exercise without it!
Jessi, Some of my favorites for running are:
Suddenly I See - KT Tunstall
If You're Gonna Leave - Emerson Hart
Love Song - Sara Bareilles
Temperature - Sean Paul
Life is a Highway - Rascal Flatts from the Cars soundtrack
You Set Me Free - Michelle Branch
Bubbly - Colbie Caillat
Enjoy!! It's getting too cold here soon to run, so I'm off for Spinning classes instead. Can't wait to run again in the spring. :)
