When the temperature starts to dip, which it did to a bitter 47 degrees yesterday! (yes, I know I am spoiled), I start to crave comfort foods. My new favorite breakfast is: hot oatmeal w/ a packet of Splenda, a few spoons of vanilla yogurt (or fruit flavored yogurt), pecans, and sometimes a handfull of raisins. Mix it all together and you have a yummy, healthy, stick-with-you-til-lunch breakfast. Mmmmmm!

That looks and sounds so good! I had oatmeal this morning and I loved how it was hot on my throat.

I'm right with ya on that breakfast! And it doesn't even have to be cold for me to have it! I am still smiling about your 'bitter 47 degrees'!
I still haven't tried that. In the morning, I just go straight for my cereal and I don't even think about other options.

Add a few blueberries fresh or frozen and non sweetened applesauce and you have what Morris eats at least once a day. I love it too.
