On Saturday the youth in our ward went to the Braves game. Since David is over the youth he was "obligated" to go. But being the nice husband that he is, he made arrangements for Lydia and I to go with him and found a babysitter for Summer and Emily. (McKenna was camping with a friend). It turned out to be a fun (but hot) day. Lydia loved the one-on-one time with me and David and enjoyed the game so long as she had something to eat. :) It was her very first major league game.... a momentous occasion in our sports-loving family!

Fun! I wish I understood sports better. Then I could go to games and know what's going on enough to enjoy it more!
I am jealous! I only wish I could go to a Braves game!!! The Mariners will have to suffice for now!
That will be a memory she has for the rest of her life! Way to go David for making it happen!
The Braves are Troys favorite team. When he was a young boy we loaded the family up in the car and drove to Denver to see the Braves play the Rockies. What a fun time we had and we were in the minority for sure. All these Rockie fans and we were yelling for the Braves. Fun memories!!!
How fun! I love going to major league baseball games. I wish Utah had a team, but I guess we'll just have to wait. And that one-on-one time is just the best, I'm sure it made Lydia feel so special and important.
I am sure she LOVED IT! I would! :) What a cute pic too! Oh and tell Summer that Cousin Shana LOVES HER!
I don't love baseball... but I love going to a major league game. It's so fun!
