I'm beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to find my wedding rings. I haven't given up hope, but just in case they never do show up I've been browsing online for an idea of what I might like to replace them. I've never really been that into jewelry, but I have to admit I've had fun looking at what's available. I'm thinking that I might want a band like one of these because they are pretty & practical. Plus, you can get a lot of sparkle without spending a fortune on a big diamoned.
I also like the idea of getting something antique.
It'll probably be years before I get anything new and I still would prefer finding MY ring, but it is fun to think about.
What qualities did you look for when you got your ring?

I love the first choice, tons of sparkle. I got a ring like that for myself a while ago and I thought it was worth mentioning that it itches my fingers a ton. You know how a regular engagement ring is smooth between your fingers because the setting is all on top. If you have diamonds all around they rub between your fingers and drive me nuts when I'm cooking, and doing dishes. Thank goodness it was only a CZ replacement because then I only wear it occasionally.
I wanted a ring that was elegant, but practical. Plus, it had to be a set. I wanted to be suprised with it though and not get exactly the one I wanted. I told John what I liked, and then trusted him to get what he thought was nice. He did a fabulous job too! I hope you find yours!
Those rings remind me a lot of my ring. I love the antiqute looking ones and the ones you have chosen so far are AMAZING. I would wear any one of those and I am not a huge ring person either. Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous. Good choices and good luck on finding your ring. I am sad you lost it! It would be horrible.
I like them all! Especially the first one! In answer to your question...I just wanted something simple. A plain band with a stone and I really wanted princess cut and an eternity band to go with it.
I like the first pick, too, it'd be nice not to have a diamond sticking out and getting caught.
Although I do love mine. I chose just one band engagement/wedding ring with white gold in the middle of yellow gold. We picked it out together. I didn't want to be surprised--I wanted to LOVE it. And I do.
I had my ring all picked out, but Dave got me something totally different. It is small and pretty and exactly what he could afford at the time, and now I can never replace it! Although...if I lost it, I wouldn't mind a BIG diamond in the same shape as mine, but BIG and shiny and plain. Hmmmm, maybe I can misplace it before Christmas!
