All I have to say is this book is EXCELLENT-- read it!!
The author, Jane Clayson Johnson, is the former CBS Early Show anchor with Bryant Gumbell. She has a very interesting story and some inspiring thoughts on mothers and motherhood. When I first saw this book I wasn't that interested because I've read a dozen other messages on motherhood and didn't think this book would offer anything new. But I've realized that even though it's a smililar message, it's a message I need to hear again... and again and again!!!

I Want to be able to check out all these new books before they get to library. I want to read this one but won't buy it, so I'll wait. I remember her on our local news so I have been following her life a bit.
My sister gave me this for my b-day. I loved it, too. Such a good reminder that what we're doing has eternal consequences. And to find joy in the journey.
That's one thing I like about blogs. I see people who are really enjoying their role as mothers. Like you, Jessi!
I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day and then decided to get a copy for myself. I loved it. It was quite empowering. It's one of those books that you need to read a couple of times a year to remind you how important you are.
I've heard about this. They are having that "time out for women" that Sheri Dew does, here in Sacramento and I was considering going. She is one of the speakers. I think I will probably go.
