Yesterday we celebrated the end of summer vacation with a SUPER FUN day up in the mountains. We went to Vogul State Park for a picnic. We swam in the swimming hole there and then went to Helton Creek falls where we swam in the pools at the base of one of the falls and slid down the natural waterslide at the other falls. After enduring 95 degree weather for the last couple weeks it felt so good to cool off in fresh mountain water!!!

How fun! From the sounds of going to lakes and all those great pictures. You guys live in a great place. Great Idea!
What wonderful pictures and what a great way to end the summer! You guys are all water babies! Thanks for letting us share your fun!
How fun!
I can't believe school starts so soon! It's totally still summer! Pretty soon they'll whittle it down to a couple days off in July!
There's nothing like refreshing water to help ease the harshness of heat and humidity (as I'm learning here deep in the heart of Texas).
It was the perfect outing before school starts! And we need to go up there more often.
GORGEOUS is ALL I can say!!!! Talk about FUN and I am completely jealous!! Looks like the perfect outing!!
That is so cool you guys live where there's stuff like that! It makes me think we need to move there!
What a fun day you had. Your family has such great experiences. I love the water like you all do too.
