I like to blame my soft, doughy belly on the fact I've had four babies. But since Summer will be 3 in September I can't use the "I've just had a baby" excuse. It's time for some action. And I'm really not into doing millions of crunches. I know pilates is good, and I like that, but I need something that is really motivating. Hence, my new fascination with belly dancing!!! This morning was my first attempt (thanks to a show on FitTV) and I loved it!! It was way harder than I thought it would be but it was so fun! And it definitely works my abs. A lady in my ward has taken belly dancing classes through our city park and recreation department and I really want to sign up!! I'd have to get over feeling silly (not even David was allowed to watch me this morning!), and I think I'll practice some more on my own before I go out in "public", but I'm excited and can't wait to learn some more!

That's so cool! I actually took belly dancing classes a few years ago it's a lot of fun! It's really good for your hips too!
