Trade-offs

One lesson I've learned in life is that I cannot have or DO it all. There are always trade-offs. If I stay up late I may enjoy some quiet time to myself but then I'm tired in the morning. If I choose to sleep in instead of exercising I may enjoy the indulgence of being lazy, but when I put my bathing suit on later in the day I regret not working out. If I take my kids to the pool instead of cleaning my house they are happier, but I come home grumpy because I can't stand clutter. If I choose what I want in the moment I may end up sacrificing what I want MOST.

So, I guess maybe the solution is knowing what I want most and then deciding accordingly.

That is the test - choosing what's right even though it isn't the most fun thing at the moment. I think you are doing a VERY good job at it!
