Early to Rise

Last summer I did so well at getting up regularly at 6:30am and running before it got too hot. This summer I've been following the "all play and no work" philosophy (or at least as much as I can) and have been sleeping in until after 8:00am. To be honest, I have really enjoyed it. But it completely throws my schedule off, and after 8:00am there is really no hope of making myself exercise because it just too blinking hot. So, I'm going to bed early tonight and am going to try and get a head start on the day tomorrow. My goal is to hear the roosters crow.

*There are a lot of chicken farms around where we live and the roosters really DO crow when the sun comes up!

All of my kids have slept in except Julia. She wakes up at 6:30 then wants a nap at 9:30. I need to look at it as a chance to get things done before the rest of the kids wake, but it ends up that I am just to tired.

Good luck! It has been a while since I worked out. As soon as we get moved and settled I need to be better! You are so good! :)

Oh ya, I forgot about the whole idea of exercising. I am not doing it right now and I am thoroughly enjoying the break! But needless to say, getting back into it after the delivery will be tough. Oh well. Good luck with your plan!

Going to bed and getting up early is like exercise - you're glad you did it after its over, but it is hard to make yourself do it up front! I hope your plan was successful!!

Wow I'm very impressed! Getting up earlier than 7 is something I really am not good at. Part of the problem is I stay up too late. I hope you have heard many roosters crow!
