I need to learn to be careful what I tell my girls because they will remember. If I ever say we "might" go to the pool they will ask and ask and ask until I give them a definitive answer. If at lunch they ask for ice cream and I say "maybe after dinner" they will ask for ice cream after dinner. When I tell Lydia she can't have gum for 14 days she will ask every morning "how many more until 14". And if they remember these things I wonder if they remember when I tell them they are beautiful, or smart, or creative, or helpful.

Children and elephants...

Elephants never forget? I didn't know that! I did know that kids don't forget!
Oooh, I hope they remember the good stuff too.
You just have to be on your toes when it comes to dealing with those smart kids! Their minds are like a steel trap (when it comes to things they like!)
So true! Brayden still remembers things and talks about things that heppened when he was 3 years old! It is crazy. I sure do hope they remember all the good times more than the worse!!
