For almost 13 years I was a vegetarian. I ate eggs and milk products, but NO meat. For me it was a matter of preference, not ideology. The past few years I've started eating chicken, fish, and turkey but still can't stomach any red meat or pork. Well, this week I've decided to go strictly vegan. No milk, no eggs, no meat.... But LOTS of veggies, fruits, beans, and grains. I feel like my body needs a jump start for summer and this is one way to do it. I planned our menu last night and was surprised at how many YUMMY foods I can still eat. The one thing I was nervous about cutting out was milk for cereal... but I bought some soymilk and it totally does the job. I already feel healthier and can't wait to see how I feel at the end of the week!!!

Wow, that's a fun idea! I think it would be hard for me to do, but if just for one week...
I am trying to increase veggies in my diet! I don't have any problem including fruit, but veggies is another story. Good luck on your week! Can't wait to hear the report!
Oh WOW! Don't know how you do it! But yes, I am sure it is cleansing. Good Luck!!
I need to eat Veggis... I never do! :(
I couldn't do it, so let me know how it goes!
Good luck. I don't think my kids would be able to do it. Natalie loves steak medium rare like dad. We do love fruits and vegetables though.
