My two youngest daughters have re-named themselves. Summer regularly calls herself "Ella" and Emily is "Sydney." They are at the age where playing pretend is their favorite activity. I love watching them use their imaginations. They remind me of myself as a kid. Growing up I wanted to change my name to "Rose", and playing house, school, or just talking to myself were some of my favorite passtimes.

i think mine was brittany, and i think it had something to do with the Chipettes.
They are so cute! And I like the names they chose!
I remember wanting to be called Rose too! They are such a cute pair of friends.
I wanted to change my name to Karen, but I never did really call myself that. I love my little Sydney and Ella! What cuties!
I was "Olivia" after Olivia Newton John, of course. I even told my first grade teacher that that was my middle name. It was after the Grease phase I was in!!! Fun Post!
Oh, and Amelia's name is usually Nora and Mikayla's is usually some made-up name like "Emorley" or "Jaken."
