For the grandparents' (and maybe history's) sake I have to post some pictures from our latest happenings.
Emily figured out how to pedal her bike.
The end of McKenna's 14-0 softball season. Go Lady Raiders!!!
The last day of school!!
McKenna's first piano recital. Her teacher is my friend, Natalie.
We had our first successful day of summer with all of the girls home.
(To make the sugar cube "temples" get 1 box of sugar cubes and make mortar from 1 egg white, 1 pinch of cream of tarter (beaten until soft peaks form) and then mixed with 1 cup of powdered sugar. We used paint brushes to brush on the mortar and then stuck them to paper plates and painted the "landscaping" with acrylic paints.)Also, my week as a vegan was painless except for the night David was out of town, at which time I NEEDED some yoplait custard style yogurt (key lime flavor). I also decided I love soy milk and am addicted to hummus.
