I am big on tradition, especially when it comes to foods. I only make fudge and Niemen-Marcus cookies around Christmas time, popcorn balls for Thanksgiving, cinnamon rolls in winter, lemon scones and ginger tea in spring and summer, pink pancakes on Valentines day, etc. But I make one exception: cranberry sauce. I LOVE cranberry sauce and don't limit it just to our Thanksgiving table. I have cranberry & turkey bagel sandwiches probably once a week, serve it as a side dish with slow-baked chicken, and always have a can on hand for when a craving strikes. It doesn't matter that I'm the only one in the house that likes it, cranberry sauce is an all-season staple!

Do you know I don't think I've ever had cranberry sauce? I think I might have tried it as a kid and not liked it, so I just never ate it again. I want some now!
Are you serious?? WOW! I am shocked. Cranberry Sauce for Shana... Umm... NO THANK YOU! I would take some scones, cinnamon rolls, pink pancakes, popcorn balls, etc... but Cranberry Sauce... No Thanks Jessi! ;)
ooo, i love cranberry sauce, too, except i'll only eat the real stuff. you know, a bag of cranberries, a cup of sugar and a cup of water, slowly simmered until all the berries pop!
one of my favorite condiments ever. ;)
Do you like it as a gel or with the whole berries in it?
I hear ya talkin! I just recently bought some turkey and wholeberry cranberry sauce for sandwiches. The homemade cranberry sauce is the best, but canned will do in a pinch!
You're making my mouth water!
