Garden fantasy

At this time every year I start to have grand visions (illusions?) of how I want our yard to look. I spend a lot of time outside weeding and while I'm weeding I imagine all our yard could be: neatly defined flower beds with a variety of shrubs and flowers, mature trees, an abundance of vegetables, and NO WEEDS. Alas, my visions have yet to come to pass. I usually run into a stumbling block when I realize I have neither the time nor the money to bring my dreams to fruition. Nevertheless, I still dream, and I believe that maybe "someday" I'll have my ideal garden landscape.

I share the same vision (illusion). I have also come to the same conclusion, that a beautiful yard takes TIME and MONEY and it just doesn't happen overnight. I have adjusted my expectations accordingly!

I love to dream about the perfect yard. I can't wait to start digging in the dirt! (just in case you were wondering this is your cousin Diana)

That picture of the front of your house from an earlier blog looks Gorgeous. You're front porch looks like my Garden fantasy. :)
