Every morning the first thing Summer says when she wakes up is "food!" She is a good little eater, and often asks for "more food" in the middle of the day. I'll go through all of our options and eventually she'll specify what she wants: CEREAL. In the past couple days I've finally realized that in her mind "food" means cereal. I wonder what that says about the role cereal plays in our diets?!

I guess Summer gets her love of cereal from her grandma. (Of course I only eat the whole grain stuff) That's so cute that she calls it "food." I might just start calling it that myself.
my little sister used to call macaroni and cheese "dinner." very cute! and ya, i eat cereal first thing when i wake up and one more bowl right before bed, just to make sure i have enough milk for the baby in the middle of the night. ;)
I love "food" too. If for some reason I don't have it for breakfast, I usually end up having a bowl later in the day or night. :)
That is cute!! I wish that we ate more "food" in our home! My kids rarely will eat cereal. They think they need pancakes, eggs, french toast, waffles or something of that sort EVERY morning!! Lucky you! :)
