I finished it! After spending the last four days devoted almost exclusively to completing this book I now wish I had not read it so quickly. This is one of those books where the characters come alive, and I feel upon completing the book that I am leaving some cherished friends. For those of you who have seen the movie and thus feel disinclined to read the book, READ THE BOOK! It is an entirely different story than the movie. And what a story it is! I feel like I've been on an emotional roller-coaster, and even now that it is resolved I still feel pulled into the narrative to try and reconcile the feelings it has stirred. Ah, Edmond Dantes, you are a character worthy of timeless esteem.

Good job Jessi!! That is a lot of pages! I will read it, if not until after I graduate. I am so glad you enjoyed it so much, and I look forward to enjoying it when I read it!

Congrats! I know how it is to finish a good book that you feel you are a part of. It is kind of sad because you want it to keep going on and on and on... ;)
