Updates

Abbi is here!!! I got to pick her up from the airport on Thursday and loved hearing her stories all the way home. She has some incredible tales to tell and I love learning from her. Today she is teaching the Young Women in my ward and I cannot wait to hear her thoughts.

I no longer hate my hair. It has taken some getting used to, but now I am realizing that the change was good. I feel (a little) hip and stylish and don't despise doing my hair in the morning. (By the way, the picture I posted earlier was taken at the end of the day after everything had gone flat. It looks much better first thing in the morning).

I was roped into singing in our ward choir (my father-in-law is the choir director) and realized I am a contralto and am comfortable singing with the tenors! I guess it's not that I have a horrible voice, I was just trying to sing way out of my range. I actually enjoyed our rehearsal yesterday and look forward to learning more tenor parts.

I can't wait to see your hair in real life! And I can't wait to hear you sing in the choir! I actually like choir practice, and I have to get up early to go to it. I must be getting old.....

Oh Jessi, Of course you are always beautiful! Your hair looked great and I am sure it still does! :)
I am glad you like it! It makes you feel a whole lot better. Isn't it crazy how much of a difference hair can make you feel as a person? And I am so glad Abbi is with you guys! That is great, I hope you guys are having fun together. And I bet you are a wonderful singer... a talent I wish I possessed!
