Hair help

I am considering doing something drastic with my hair and wanted to get some input. Right now my hair is long (it touches my bra strap in the back), and I am debating whether or not to keep it long and just re-style it, or to cut it off and go for something totally different. Here are a couple pictures I'm considering. What are your thoughts?

This is my no guts option. I have to admit it is the one I am leaning towards though. I am kind of attached to my long hair. It makes me feel young and a little sexy.

This haircut would be more trouble to style but would still fit into a ponytail on mornings I didn't want to mess with it. It is a little shorter but still has that young and sexy feel.

This is one of my drastic options. I probably wouldn't go quite that short, and would have it angled a little more towards the front, but you get the idea. SCARY! (But it might be cute, and would definitely be a change!) It looks like it would be pretty easy to style, but my hair tends to "flip out", so that may be a problem.

This seems to be a sleeker version of the last style. My hair does have some wave to it, so this would take a straitening iron to achieve, but I still thought it was cute.

There you have it. I am going to call my friend (who is a professional stylist) to make an appointment and need to make a decision soon. So, comment away!

You know how good I am at making these kinds of decisions, but I'd say I like the second one the best. I'm excited to hear what you decided, and to see it in a month! A month from today I'll be there!

since i've never seen in you person, i think you should cut it about to your shoulders, with layers around your face. not too many, though, unless you're willing to blow dry every day. that's the hair i have (you can see it on my blog, miles' blessing day). i really like it. it still feels long, but short pieces in the front make it feel more like a hairdo if i want it to.
post before and afters! :)

Jessi,
I tried option four and HATED IT. It took forever to grow out. I like number two as well. I did drastic short once and found I liked it, but it was more work than long hair because you had to do it everyday. I suggest having a length that you can put into a pony tail until all children are in school and you have time in the mornings.
