This weekend was so much fun! Thursday night we went to Disney Princesses on Ice (thanks to free tickets from Steve & Deanna).
My girls LOVED it. The show featured all of the Disney princesses and was very captivating. (Even Summer was drawn in to it). It made us all want to grow up to be princesses!
Friday we went on our annual caming trip to Cherokee with David's family. As usual the kids had a blast getting filthy dirty. We hiked to a waterfall, sat by the fire, and took the kids trick-or-treating around the campground. Of course my favorite part was eating smores and sipping hot chocolate by the campfire. On the way home we stopped by the Dillard House, a family style restaurant with good southern cookin'. (Fried chicken, butter beans, creamed corn, squash, okra, country fried steak, salted ham, biscuits, cornbread, white gravy.....) YUM!
Now we're back home and I'm trying to face my mile-high pile of laundry and kids who want to eat their trick-or-treat candy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Luckily we have more fun things to look forward to. Halloween and my birthday are also this week, so luckily the fun doesn't have to end now that the weekend is over.
